Okay, I've lost track of how many day's it's been. No biggie. I haven't lost much weight that I can see yet. I think what I'm burning is transferring into muscle. 'Cause I have begun to notice a difference in my arms and legs. Small still, but there's a bit showing. Outside of the gym, not much is happening. Work is still stressfull and annoying, but that's pretty much anywhere. Unless you have the dream job where you don't do anything and get paid lot's of money and don't have to deal with people. Let's face it, work sucks. Period! Just watched the new Robotech movie, "The Shadow Chronicles". Not bad, could have been better and ended like there was going to be a sequal. I hope so, because I'm tired of this Admiral Rick Hunter drama. They need to figure that shit out. Plus, the movie started off with a whole new take on the Invid/Regis thing. The original series ended much differently than the beginning of the movie. Consistency, people! Ooh! Also finished watching the 3rd series of Doctor Who. The second season with David Tenant. Some really freaky shit goin' on with this season. I really like Martha, but she's no Rose. Come back Billie Piper! If I were straight, I'd marry her. And it was great seeing Cpt. Jack back with the Doctor. They just need to get some actors who are going to stay with this shit. Freema has left, though she'll return sometime next season. And there's already rumors going that David will be leaving after this next season. But, I'm glad that Freema will be crossing over to Torchwood for a few episodes and that Catherine Tate will be the Doctor's new companion for the fourth season. She's returning as Donna from the "Runaway Bride". Fuckin' loved that episode, and she was great. They made a good team. Anyway, all for now! Ok, yo! So, it's been a couple days since I've posted. That's because I had to go to work yesterday right after the gym. First, I took the scales at 187.something pounds, ouch. I worked out on the Hammer Strength machines for about 1/2 hour and then did some cardio. On the Hammer's I did upper body, ab's and legs. After all was done, I barely lost a pound. Oh well, always tomorrow. So, today I scaled at 185.7lbs. Worked on the Hammer's again, only doing pecs, ab's and leg's this time. Mainly 'cause I was sore from yesterday. Which does not bode well for my first appointment with my personal trainer tomorrow. I hear he's tough. But, that's good. It's what I need. After that I rode the bike for 25min and walked the treadmill for another 25. Burned about 360 calories or so. Came in on the scales at 184.4lbs. Getting closer to where I was last week. I'm starting to watch my diet a little better, it's gonna be damn hard to watch those calories. Oh, the fun in store for me. Well, today was day 3 of the new fitness gig. I skipped yesterday because my dad had surgery earlier this week and he would have been my only way there. But, the man is kinda in pain right now, so I figured it's a small price to pay for his comfort. Anyway, Chuck & I went this morning somtime between 10 & 10:30. I got on the scales and saw that I was back up to 184.something. No big suprise since I didn't go yesterday. I worked out on this pecs machine thing and then some arm do-hickey. After that I did some leg press' & something w/the ankles that supposed to help your upper thighs and some other muscle. (I'm so educated about this shit, huh?) Then went into the cardio theatre and walked briskly for pert near a half hour. I could have gone a little longer, but Chuck was ready to go. So we called it a day. Upon leaving I stepped on the scales again and came in at an even 184. Woo-hoo! Oh well, results don't happen that quick. To quote the great bard Morrissey "These things take time, & I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped." Well, the "these things take time" part anyway. Well, it's day 2 of me getting healthy & in shape. First, I actually got a full 8hrs of sleep and hope I can keep that up. I had some cream of wheat for b-fast and some couscous & chick pea sald for lunch (like anyone cares, huh). And that makes 4 days w/out meat of any kind. Though I have had some milk & cheese throughout the week. Before starting my cardio for the day, I got on the scales to weigh myself. I registered at 183.6lbs, about the same as yesterday when after working out. I was on the treadmill for 45min and then the cross-country ski machine thingy for another 10min. I walked at a faster pace than yesterday & burned a little more, I could feel it in my legs. After that near hour of cardio, I took to the scales once more and came in at 182.6lbs. Not bad, I know results will vary depending on what I eat, when I eat it & when it leaves my body. But that's why I'm starting to record all of this. It's definately not for posterity! I need to keep track of this shit so I know what's going on with my body and stuff, right. Anyway, that's all fer now.

Okay, so I haven't been on here in, like, forever. Oh, well, not everyone is that committed yet. Anyway! Chuck and I just got memberships to Gold's Gym the other day. Yesterday was day 1 on the road to fitness. What a fucking shock! I had no idea that I weighed 184lbs. Ugh! Well, I'm going to make it slow start. Don't want to shock my body or have an asthma attack. Got on the treadmill and walked 4 miles, burned 398 calories and lost about 1lb. Oh, I feel lighter all ready. Of course when we got home my mother had way too much food set on the table for dinner. Yea, that's gonna help. So, I figure that this is the perfect place to record my journey on the road to a slimmer, toner & more muscular me. That, and I got some new shoes!

You Are a Mermaid
|

You are a total daydreamer, and people tend to think you're flakier than you actually are.
While your head is often in the clouds, you'll always come back to earth to help someone in need.
Beyond being a caring person, you are also very intelligent and rational.
You understand the connections of the universe better than almost anyone else.
